The track "There's a Time" was truncated from it's full-length 9 minutes and 29 seconds to a mere 7 minutes and 2 seconds for the benefit of the audio fidelity of side one. Digital download copies of the album made via the download card in the vinyl edition contain the original version of the song. The commercially available download edition of the album contains the same abridged version of "There's a Time" that the vinyl includes.

An early working title for the album was "I Aim to Please."
